Now that you've learned about our engagement, it's time to talk wedding!
Boo and I are getting married on November 9, 2013 in NYC at Studio450. The venue is a stark white, two-story loft. This is a very "New York" space, and is not your typical wedding venue. There are large windows with 270 degree views of NYC: the Hudson river and Hudson Yards, the Empire State Building, The New Yorker Building, and the new World Trade Center.

There's also an amazing water tower on the roof of the building which offers an incredible backdrop for pictures. I'm already nervous about climbing the tiny "stairs" (AKA ladder) in my wedding dress...but I'm going to do it for Boo the pictures. I'm selfless like that.

When you rent the space, you are paying for the actual space, and not much else. Therefore, we are bringing in our own catering and rentals. We can choose literally any chair/table/tablecloth/place setting combination you can think of. This creates obvious headaches from a logistical standpoint, but allows us to have a perfect day, exactly the way we imagined it.
I received quotes from four different catering and production companies, but through my powers of excellent research (Google), I found our amazing caterer and coordinator, Yen from Real Food Catering. Yen and her partner Gary do 55 weddings a year. 55?! I was bound and determined that this company cater our wedding. After hearing only great things about Real Food Catering from the venue and reading endless customer reviews online, I knew Yen was our girl. Not only is she clearly the best in the business, but she knows the space well, and that is worth its weight in gold. Feeding 200 guests from a kitchen not much bigger than the one in my apartment is no easy feat, but I was assured it would be fine.
So, there you have it. Our wedding venue, caterer and coordinator.
xx,
The Future Mrs. Wolf
